SSFYTT Cowboy - Twill Help?

I love Jen del Muro's blog. It's one of my can't miss! Check it out on my sidebar! I finally decided to try one of her sketches! She has such great ones. So I started out with an idea in my head and it worked ok. The only thing that gave me trouble was the dang twill tape! Anyone have any suggestions for getting this stuff to adhere? I tried Making Memories ribbon glue, I tried my dotto I tried my Xyron. I had some serious issues. But anyways, I used my little cowboy and sentiment from Lizzie Anne Designs. So cute! Colored with my copics and paper pierced to give some detail. I circle punched the stars from SU's DP called Outlaw. The card base is choc chip images stamped in Choc Chip on Very Vanilla matted on Close to Cocoa. Hope you like. And be sure to leave a tip if you have one about the twill tape!

It's been awhile but I'm back!

I haven't posted anything in awhile. With the holidays and snow and such. I have been making cards however first to share my creations from last weekend when my friend Natalie came over and we crafted. I made cards she scrapped.

This is a blingy little card I made for one of my poochy mama friends over at SCS. She's been a little down and This card would brighten anyone's day right? I used a cupcake stamp from inkadinkadoo I believe with the matching sentiment. I stamped them in black. The card base is Cert. Celery from SU. The black is my Bazzill Bling - love that stuff. The ribbon is from Jacksonbelle embellishments she is a SCS member compnay and she ships SUPER fast. Check out her ebay store here. I stickled the top to add some more pink and used my sakura glitter pen on the liners. Hope she likes! Oh and I used my ticket corner punch on the corners of the sentiment. How did I ever live without that?

Here's another card from my evening of creating. I LOVE this hostess set called Word on Word - scored it off ebay! I made this card for another one of my SCS poochy mama friends. She sent Blake the cutest onesie and lovey blankie. I used kraft for the card base and some leftover Dashing DP. The image is stamped in creamy caramel. I inked the edges and used my corner rounder to make a scalloped edge on both pieces of paper. Added wide strip of red grosgrain ribbon with a red and white poka dot piece tied around it. I really like the look of that!
I made two other cards but I think those will have to wait for another day. :)

Who is the Krafty Mama?

Hi I'm the Krafty one! :) I'm the Queen to 2 little knights and a sweet princess. I married my knight in shining armor (kevlar) over 8 years ago and I am a REAL mom, wife and substitute teacher trying to be the best I can be! I love "krafting" but tend to buy more supplies than I actually use. I love make up, nail polish, hair products and fashion but have been known to leave the house in sweats a messy bun and no make up! I love to cook and bake but am guilty of feeding my kids McDonalds in a pinch. I love direct sales and have joined too many to mention! I would love to get to know you!
