It's Police Week, and I had seen some Thin Blue Line manicures on Pinterest so I thought I would try it! I really struggled with this! I did try to do it freehand and the blue polish had a very wide brush!!!
I also have trouble getting my manis to dry even with Fast Dry Top Coat!
Doesn't help that my nails are super ridgy! I like to buff them but I read not to do that to use Ridge filler but that's yet another step! lol! What are your thoughts on buffing your nails to get rid of ridges?
Here is the mani anyway! The Black is Julep. The Blue is Sally Hansen Blue Me Away with Orly Blue sparkle on top.
Fun? I also used my new Julep Pile Wand - I like it but still struggled some! I need more practice with it too!
Here is a picture of more of my hand.

I can't wait to try my Plie wand! I'm terrible at any kind of accent, but I'm hoping the wand will help!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite accent is dots with a dotting tool! If I can do it you can!
DeleteBlack and blue is such a lovely combo!

Try Seche Vite Dry Fast TC. It dries super quick!
