Today you get not one but TWO cards! I know you are ectatic!
See I made myself this little challenge to not buy anything new till I had inked up at least one stamp from all my new/unused sets and used all my new tools! Well I think I am there on the tools still have a few stamps to go! With this being VSN weekend on SCS there are lots of challenges for me to play and motivate me! That and I REALLY wanna order PTI - have you SEEN what they have cooked up this month?!?!?!?
First card is a Christmas card that I started for the Waltzing Mouse Sketch challenge using Heartfelt Creations stamps - I really can't wait till I have actual Waltzing Mouse Stamps to do these challenges with! However they have a stamp and the nestabilities that are very similar to this one!
I also used this for the Nines challenge on SCS for VSN.

The coordinating nestabilities dies make creating this poinsettia SO easy! Just stamp emboss, die cut, and layer! Can you imagine how long it would take to cut that out by hand!?!? I can I have done a few projects like that in the past! I will take coordinating dies any day! I stamped the holly image behind it to make the triangle of the one corner of the sketch then added the button and banner at the bottom - you might have to look really hard at the sketch to see where I went with it but I promise it's there!
My second card is a personalized Thanksgiving card and I made two one for my parents and one for Andrew's. How did I personalize them you ask? Why by using Just Rite stamps of course! I just love them!
Having a somewhat unique name I have always longed for personalized things! But you just don't find TESSA on much and SCHWEDER on even less! With Just Rite stamps it can say whatever you want!
This card is for their Friday challenge to use Navy Rust and Gold (I added a little brown too shhhh!) Not a color combo I would have thought to use!
I created my border circle using the large 2 3/8 circle with Times New Roman font and Celebrations Demi Phrases. I then stamped the Turkey which is a single from SU in the middle and embossed him in gold. The background is a swirly leaf stamp I've had for a while. I love that this stamp coordinates with the pink marvy circle punch so I could punch it out and layer it with the rust scalloped piece! I added some big punched out leaves and a few gold brads to finish it off! Oh and I inked up all the layers and leaves! for my layout I used the All sorts Sketch.
Today I am thankful for all of my wonderful online friends! I don't know what I would do without you!
