I have two digital layouts for you today! They are very different from each other. However I like them both! The first was for a speed scrap at Scrap Matters. It is very much my traditional style. It looks like paper or traditional scrapping. I used the kit Boys Will Be Boys by Just So Scrappy. The flower is from the Shabby Princess free kit Happy Go Lucky. I used two of them and twisted one to make it fuller. This is such a good picture of my oldest son Kaden who is almost 6! He is in our yard playing on the Little Tykes play thing - he is of course at the very top of it! Dare devil!
My second layout is very whimsy and has a LOT of white space! The background is white with a little shadowing. I used the kit Octopus Garden by RebeccaB which you can find at MLAS for only $1 right now!!! This picture is of my oldest again (better do some layouts of Blake so we don't have any MORE sibling rivalry!). It was taken last summer at my sister-in-laws pool Kaden loves swimming and loved the foam water squirters they had! I changed it black and white and then gave it a old photo overlay texture. I love this kit it is so fun! It also has fish, and an octopus and seahorse - so cute! This works for the Inspired by Color Challenge for June at MLAS too!
So what do you think? Which style are you? Which style do you like better?

Both are great pages! I really like the look of the second because it is so unique but I am definitely style number 1! I rarely do digi but I do love how versatile it is!
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm the first style. I have a really hard time doing those creative layouts, especially ones that have blended photos or specialized photoshop techniques. I really want my pages to still look traditional. :)
ReplyDeleteLove both of these! i haven't scrapped in AGES so I have no idea what my style is. wanna come help me? And, side note, how is Kaden 6 already???
ReplyDeleteOH i love both of them! They are both wonderful! I definitely love the combo of white and black and lime green!
ReplyDeleteI love both pages!
ReplyDeleteLove the colors in the first one and the negative space in the second one. Fabulous!
