I love love love banners! They are so trendy now but have been creeping up in the craft world for some time now! I thought this year I would do a different banner each month then I would have go to banners to decorate with!
So for January the obvious choice was...Snow!
Though we really haven't had much!
Crazy freezing temperatures yes! But actual snow, no :( I kinda miss it! Snow means I get to stay home, but plain cold, not usually and if it's going to be THIS cold there should at least be snow so I don't have to go anywhere!
For my banner I chose a pennant base. I cut four pennants that already had holes that I purchased from the Cameo store out of Bazzil Swiss dots in white.
The cut file also came with a scalloped layer! I cut this in OLD Stampin Up Cool Caribbean.
I layered those and adhered the top to the bottom with my ATG gun.
I then used Snowflake letters from Miss Kate's Cutables which you can get from her site or the Cameo store. You simply separate them, chose the ones you need and resize. I cut them on the white.
I then stickled them with Tim Holtz Hard Rock Candy Stickles to make them shine!
I let the letters dry then added them to the banners with Mono Multi and added some bling that I got at Hobby Lobby to the center of each snowflake.
To hang the banner I used Tim Holtz tinsel which was perfect!
Here is my little hutch with my winter decor.
See the printable I framed HERE.
The warmer is an old Scentsy warmer.
