Well here it is - my 30th birthday! Andrew and I went to KC to the Legends last night and went shopping for me with my birthday money and then went to Dave and Busters!!!! I hadn't been in 8 years and he had never been! We had so much fun! Can't wait to go back! He also got me a cake bead for my Pandora bracelet so I will always remember my 30th birthday - how sweet is that! I did tons of shopping yesterday - khols and pennys had very nice sales and I was in desparate need of pants! On my little spree yesterday I got 4 pairs of pants, 2 pairs of jeans, tall black boots, a cream colored sweater, a striped henly type shirt, two pairs of earrings, a pair of capris, and peasent style shirt. Pretty good haul I thought! (Gap and BR had sales too!) I sit here on my birthday a little sad cause I don't know anything about the day I was born - zip being adopted you just don't get to know those details most of the time.

So today I am going to share 30 things about me I KNOW!
1) I have been through A LOT in my last 30 years and hope the next 30 are "the best years" of my life!
2) I met my husband on the internet even though we lived 15 miles apart!
3) I LOVE the color purple!
4) I am strangely obsessed with the #4!
5) In HS I explored LOTS of different career paths! Fashion Merchandizing, Journalism, Marine Biology, Graphic Design, Photography, Arline Attendent, Cruise Ship Rec Director and settled on Teaching!?!
6) I have never been good at making/keeping friends.
7) I had my wild days the first two years of college and then 2 years AFTER college?!?
8) I used to work for GAP!
9) I LOVE Grey's Anatomy!
10) I am EXTREMELY PICKY about lots of things!
11) I am a weird shopper even though I love it! I hate cuffed pants, shirts where the dress shirt/sweater/vest is attached into one creation, I have to touch everything when I shop for clothes! I hate things that have hoods that aren't hoodies - sweaters should NOT have hoods!
12) I have a BIG booty! And sadly getting bigger!
14) I didn't know what real true love was till I had my first child!
15) I prefer my SU markers to copics!
16) I LOVE the show FRIENDS still and am collecting the series on DVD.
17) I have wacked out crazy allergies that the doctors said I would out grow but actually got worse!
18) I LOVE brown!!!!!
19) I love theater and musicals and all kinds of culture even though I grew up in podunk USA.
20) I love and am totally obsessed with the ocean and everything in it (not to mention pretty much all water and things related) and I didn't see my first one until I was 20!
21) I am a rum girl - does that mean I am part pirate?!
22) I LOVE clothes and the show What Not To Wear!
23) I have NEVER been to WDW! Hopefully will correct this in next 5 years I do NOT want my children to be able to say this!
24) I have ridiculously expensive taste for someone who was raised where and how I was! I can go in an average shop and my eye goes straight to the most expensive thing in the store!
25) I love my hubby! I am seriously lucky to have found him and that he wanted to marry me! I also love how tall he is!
26) I am messy and unorganized - really but I am working on it! any tips?
27) I am very loyal, I may not be the best at writing/keeping in touch but I am always there!
28) I can not even count the number of times I have been pulled over and now I am married to a COP!
29) I like trying new foods but don't like onions, mushrooms, peppers, bananas, raisins, peas, sausage, asparagus, lima beans, brussle sprouts, processed chicken stuff, and I am sure there is more!
30) I think being 30 is going to be good! I know who I am, I'm married and we are getting it figured out, I am done having kids, I think, I think this is going to be a great time in life!
