Now that the Twilight madness has subsided (other than my impending review after I see the movie) until New Moon is set to be released it's time to for a different project! I placed a nice big Papertrey Ink order in November for the release! I hadn't ordered for a LONG time and needed to catch up on colors I had missed. So while I mostly ordered paper, ribbon, and ink, I did order two sets as well Warm Happiness and Teacher's Apple (no WAY I could resist that!) I played
with Warm Happiness tonight! SO FUN!!!!!!!
with Warm Happiness tonight! SO FUN!!!!!!!
First I stamped the polka-dot mug in Aquatic Splash Ink by Versamagic it's a Dew Drop shape - I own this ink because of Lauren Meader! She used it on a project I belive even with kraft and I went GOTTA have it! So now I own it and this is the first I've used it *blush*. It's small I forget I have things, oh come on like you never! But back to the card (focus Tessa). I then used the outline mug and stamped it in Dark Chocoalte ink. I then created a mask and stamped the oval underneath. I am so glad I tried masking! I then used the reverse mask and used the outline of the polka dot to go in and add detail to the dots! Not perfect I missed the inside of the handle but I am getting better at this masking thing! (second time people). I then stamped the word coffee under the mug. I added a strip of dark chocolate cs with score lines below that with some American Crafts ribbon that matches the Aquatic Splash ink PERFECTLY!!! Love the itty bitty dots on it! I also scored the bottom of the base of the card! A simple card but lots of little details! I am having fun getting comfortable with my tools!!!! TFL! I am participating in PTI's blog hop for the first time tomorrow!!!! NERVOUS!
