....where you are planted. That's how the saying goes! It's one of very few things I remember my mother saying to me OVER and OVER growing up! As in you're stuck here get over it! I am from a teeny tiny itty bitty town a wide spot in the road if you will! I was NEVER quite suited for it! I was far to unique for that town what with a name like Tessa in a see of Jennifers and Brandis?! No. Small midwestern town did not suite me well! And it has really affected me my whole life! I really feel like I was destined to grow up in the city or the very least the south! But any way you do what you can with what you have and ATTEMPT to BLOOM!! But that's not why you are here! This is the PTI blog hop! My first one!!!!!
I used felt flowers and stitched on them a la' Dawn McVey - that girl is amazing with FELT! I am sure I pale in comparison! The card is fairly simple giving the flowers the spotlight!!!!! I stamped the sentiment BLOOM WHERE YOU'RE PLANTED in the corner using Dark Chocolate ink it's from the set Just Hatched. The top of the card I used the NEW Spring Rain CS and added a strip of Dark Chocolate. I tied some American Crafts ribbon around it and then paper pierced on either side of the chocolate cs! Simple card but I like it! TFL!!!!
CS: Kraft, Spring Rain, Dark Chocolate by PTI
Ink: Dark Chocolate by PTI
Ribbon: American Crafts
Other: Heidi Swap felt flowers, Bazzil in stitches thread in stonewash, Paper piercer, needle from Bazzil in stiches kit
